Kravice Waterfalls at a glance
Kravice is a waterfall park in Herzegovina. The water falls over a wide edge into a large pool, and visitors swim and picnic around it. You will see both spellings: Kravice in English, Kravica on the operator's own pages. They mean the same place.
This guide is independent. It is not run by the operator, the municipality or any tour company. The prices below are the operator's published rates for 2026 and can change. The Bosnian convertible mark (KM, or BAM) is fixed to the euro at 1 euro = 1.95583 KM, so 20 KM is about €10.20.

Swimming at Kravice
You can swim at Kravice at your own risk. There is no promise of a daily approval for the water, so judge the conditions and the crowds when you arrive and keep children close. The long opening hours from June to September leave room for an early or late swim.
The operator sets a few rules. Bathing animals is forbidden, and so are open fires. It also warns of falling tufa, the soft mineral rock that forms the ledges. Heed the warnings and do not linger right below the rock faces.
Wear shoes with a grip for the wet paths and bring a towel and drinking water. A meadow opens up behind the pool, with a viaduct in the background, which makes a good spot to dry off.

Getting to Kravice
Most visitors come by car or on a guided trip. Check the current timetable before you plan on public transport, and ask your host if you are unsure. Day trips run from Mostar and from Dubrovnik, and the page on a day trip from Dubrovnik explains the border and the bus options.
If you drive, parking is charged by the hour, so plan your time at the falls. Read the itinerary of any tour to see how long you get at the falls, because some trips add several stops.
Other places fit well into the same day or the next: the Buna spring at Blagaj and the fortified village of Počitelj. For flights, trains and buses see getting there.
Plan your time at the falls
The opening hours and the climate of the region shape the day.
June to September
The park stays open until 22:00, so you can come late in the day after a morning elsewhere. The average daily high in Mostar is 29.8 °C in June and 32.0 °C in July.
May and October
May is open until 20:00 and October until 19:00. The average high in Mostar is 25.1 °C in May and 21.5 °C in October, and October is wetter, with 151 mm of rain on average.
November to February
The gate closes at 17:00. Arrive in the morning. The average high in Mostar is between 9.3 and 11.6 °C, so this is a visit for walking, not for swimming.
The temperatures are monthly averages for Mostar from 1991 to 2020, not a forecast. See the weather page for the full table.
